Dear Valued Customer,
This is to inform you that there are some formats of phone numbers which are only allowed on appwebSMS.
During the time of sending SMS, where you are required to enter the recipients phone numbers on the Compose SMS page, you will need to enter the phone numbers in one of the following formats, else your message will not deliver and will definitely go to thin air:
08036XXXXXX
2348036XXXXXX
+2348036XXXXXX
The above is the only available format of phone numbers allowed on appwebSMS, if you otherwise input your phone numbers as 23408036XXXXXX or +23408036XXXXXX, it will definitely not deliver and your SMS unit will be deducted. The difference between 2348036XXXXXX and 23408036XXXXXX or between +2340836XXXXXX and +23408036XXXXXX is the prevailing 0 digit that appeared immediately after 234. The 0 is not supposed to be there after entering 234, else the Message will not deliver. You can only include the 0 digit when you did not include 234
Also During the time of sending SMS, where you are required to enter the recipients phone numbers on the Compose SMS page, you will need to enter the phone numbers in one of the following formats, else your message will not deliver:
1. The phone numbers must be separated by comma, otherwise known as comma delimited.
08036XXXXXX, 2348036XXXXXX, +2348036XXXXXX
2. If the phone numbers are not separated by comma, they must be on different lines
08036XXXXXX
2348036XXXXXX
+2348036XXXXXX
Please always bear this in mind while sending your SMS.
